NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft, having successfully completed its testing and calibration phase, is already making significant progress on the most detailed atlas of the moon’s south pole to date. The following visuals show early observations from LRO suite of scientific instruments including topography, temperature, neutron detection, and radar maps.
